Palo Alto, CA – June 21, 2010 – The Radicati Group, Inc.’s latest study, “Asia Pacific Hosted Email Market, 2010-2014,” provides an in-depth look at all segments of the Asia Pacific (APAC) Hosted Email market, including: ISP/Webmail email, Hosted Business Email, and Managed Business Email.

According to the study, the installed base of hosted email mailboxes in APAC, including both business and consumer accounts will grow from nearly 1.1 billion mailboxes in 2010, to over 1.5 billion mailboxes by 2014.

Growing penetration of Broadband Internet, both fixed and mobile, continues to drive adoption of email services throughout APAC. Consumer growth is particularly strong in this region due to emerging markets, such as China, India, and Southeast Asia. Business adoption of Hosted Business Email services in APAC, still lags far behind North America and Europe, however is also showing signs of potential growth, as more SMBs in the region become comfortable with conducting business over the Internet.

The study provides an analysis of leading APAC market players, including: 263 Network Communications, Google, Melbourne IT (WebCentral), Microsoft, NetEase, NTT Communications, SingTel, Tata Communications, Telstra, Yahoo! and more.
