Email continues to be one of the main reasons why organizations deploy archiving solutions. However, many organizations today are also becoming more interested in expanding the type of content managed by their archives. Some of the more popular choices, in terms of archival content include various file documents, PSTs, Microsoft SharePoint content, IM messages, voice and video files, and much more. Only a few providers today offer a truly unified archive that can manage various types of data with a federated search capability. However, as the demand for these additional features grows in the future, we expect more vendors to also start offering these features. This web conference brings together a speaker panel of archiving experts to discuss how the archiving market is evolving to address archiving email as well as other more complex forms of content.
